CLASS SCHEDULED CLOSURE DATES 2026-2027

While we do have some dates scheduled in advance that CVGA will be closed for recreational classes (listed below), please note these dates are subject to change, and more dates may be added in. We will communicate via email as well as Facebook/Instagram posts.

• August 24 -28th – 1st week of school Closed for classes; Open for After School Camp
• September 5-7th – Labor day weekend
• November 26-29th – Thanksgiving Break
• December 23–Jan 3rd – Holiday Break
• February 22-28 – February Break
• March 27-28th – Easter Weekend
• April 4-5th – Easter weekend
• April 19-25th – April Vacation
• May 29-31st  – Memorial Day Weekend
• July 35th – Independence Day

BAD WEATHER CLOSURES

In case of bad weather, class cancellation information is made available as soon as possible through email and/or text for those who have enabled that feature in their account, and is also posted on our Facebook and Instagram. If classes are canceled due to weather, make-up tokens will be provided.

CVGA follows the Harwood Union Unified School District (HUUSD) school delays and closures for weekday classes with a start time BEFORE NOON ONLY. If HUUSD delays or closes, open gyms at CVGA are canceled.

Regardless of HUUSD’s delays and closures, for any CVGA classes that are scheduled AFTER NOON, the decision to cancel class(es) will be based on the weather at the gym as well as staff travel routes, and will be posted at least two hours before class(es).

As always, use your best judgment when traveling. We will happily offer make-up opportunities for anyone who does not feel comfortable driving due to hazardous weather conditions.
